The Mighty Wurlitzer opens spring 2009. Wurlitzer originally from the Gaumont Cinema, Manchester had been installed in the Granada Studio Tours in Manchester. This installation sees new purpose-built chambers measuring a staggering 50 foot long, 12ft high, 15 foot deep which will house one of the UK's finest theatre organs.

The organ is owned by Paul Kirner, of Compton Lodge, Sapcote, Leicestershire, who purchased the Wurlitzer from the Lancastrian Theatre Organ Trust and has provided the organ to Folly Farm on long term loan.
